The Giant Price Tag is a big wall shaped like a price tag that covers prizes and pricing games. The only pricing game the Giant Price Tag couldn't cover up completely is the Grand Game which premiered in 1980.
The first look of the Giant Price Tag (1972-1973), taken from the premiere, for it came with curtains.
Same as last one, but this one doesn't have curtains.
The second look (1973-1979), same as last two, but this one has the word "new" eliminated.
The third look (1979-1985), same as last one, but this one has the dollar sign completely next to the title and its border is green.
The Outer Space look (1985-1990).
The more familiar marble and tied knot look from 1990 until Bob retired from the show in June 2007. An alternate version, starting in 2003, had a gold border instead of yellow. Additionally, the first three Million Dollar Spectaculars had a version with a silver knot and dollar sign. For Christmas shows, the ribbon was colored in red and white (like a candy cane).
Here it is again covering the Grand Game. By this point, it is now raised up to cover up the top of the game; before that, the top of the Grand Game sign could be seen when it was all the way down.
This is the current look used since Drew Carey took over the show in October 2007. This is strangely still used, since the previous pattern of the Doors is no longer used.
