Manuela Arbeláez Correa (born September 9, 1988 in Medellin, Colombia) is a Colombian-American model and actress. She can currently be seen as one of the models on The Price is Right.
Manuela Arbeláez was born in Medellín, Colombia to parents Luis Carlos Arbeláez and Gloria Correa. She packed her bags and moved to the United States in 2006, relocating to West New York, New Jersey. Shortly after moving to the U.S., Arbeláez became one of the finalists during the 2008 season of Nuestra Belleza Latina, a beauty contest/reality show hybrid airing on the U.S. Spanish-language television channel Univision. She placed sixth in the competition.
Still practically a new citizen to the US, Arbeláez continued on to audition for other TV acting and modeling gigs. After appearing as a finalist on Nuestra Belleza Latina, Manuela entered a Model Search contest for The Price is Right where she became one of five finalists to appear on-camera as a model on an episode of the game show with the winner being chosen by an internet fan vote and having the opportunity to tape five additional episodes.
Although she did not win the model contest, Manuela left an excellent impression on the show's producers and was instantly hired as a model for the show, replacing Brandi Sherwood-Cochran, who was dumped from the program due to her pregnancy and later filed suit as a result. Manuela joined The Price is Right family as she made her nationwide debut on the April 1, 2009 episode and continued on as a regular model going into next season.
In addition to her new role as model on The Price is Right, Manuela has appeared on other TV shows including the soap The Bold and The Beautiful and appeared in the motion picture Jack and Jill. She is featured in Diddy/Dirty Money’s music video for Loving You No More and also appeared in Robin Thicke’s music video It’s in the Mornin’. She was also one of the Trophy Models at the 54th Grammy Awards (aired on February 12, 2012).
Also in 2012, Complex magazine named Arbeláez as one of the 25 Hottest Game Show Eye Candy, ranking in as number one of the list.
On the April 2, 2015 episode, during the Five Price Tags game, Manuela screws up the game by accidentally revealing the correct price of the car and as a result, the contestant is awarded the car despite having two more chances at picking the right price (the contestant had three chances total).
