Misty Atkinson (born January 8, 1975 in Portland, OR) is an American Model & an aspiring Actress. She once appeared as a Barker's Beauty on The Price is Right for only ten episodes in 2002.
Early Life & Career[]
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon.
After graduating High School and having earned a degree in Nursing, Misty set her sights on Hollywood. After making the move to the glitz and glamor of Hollywood, she wasted no time and almost immediately began booking both modeling and acting gigs. Misty has went from posing for various calendars to landing parts in music videos to even gracing the pages of Playboy magazine.
She was also seen in the 2000 movie Dude, Where's My Car? (starring Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott) where she played the role of a dancer.
"The Price is Right" & Later Career[]
But perhaps Misty's biggest accomplishment to date was when she landed a gig as one Barker's Beauties on the television game show The Price is Right during it's 31st season. She made her nationwide debut on (airdate) October 1, 2002 (following the departure of Nikki Ziering, whose final appearance aired the day before), and was the first of the model rotations. Misty continued on until the 14th for a total of 10 appearances with model Shane Stirling making her debut that next day.
Misty has also appeared on Benchwarmer trading cards. She once said that one of her ambitions in the near future was to either host her very own Travel show or her very own game show.
