Stephanie Leigh Schlund (born 1985 in Atlanta, GA) is an American actress. She previously appeared as a model on The Price is Right during seasons 36 and 37.
Early Life[]
Native of Atlanta, Georgia with her younger sister. At a very young age, Stephanie realized that being on the stage was her comfort zone. Her family claims that it's "in her blood" as she is related to the late Gene Roddenberry. Stephanie is an avid supporter of animal shelters.
The Price is Right & Acting Career[]
Before she ventured into the world of acting, Schlund got her first exposure in front of the camera as a model on the television Game Show The Price is Right during the show's then-36th season and was one of five newbies to join the series under the tenure of Drew Carey (the others being Tamiko Nash, Amber Lancaster, Tami Donaldson and Ashley Guerrero).
Stephanie's nationwide debut episode aired on June 24, 2008 and continued to appear until July 1st. She returned to the show the following season beginning for one solo appearance on November 19th followed by five additional appearances from December 10th-15th plus one more solo appearance on the 17th, which was her very last. All total, Schlund has taped 12 episodes over the course of two seasons.
From there, Stephanie turned her attention from modeling to acting. Appearing in a number of guest starring roles on shows which include Drop Dead Diva, The Following., Past Life and Reckless. She has also appeared in a number of movies which include Stomp The Yard, Bad Land and appearing alongside singer/actress Miley Cyrus in the 2010 film The Last Song playing the character Megan Blakelee.
In August 2012, Stephanie's casting was announced in the 2013 film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire as Cashmere, one of the tributes from District 1.
Today, Stephanie is still hard at work in the acting field, she's appeared a 2015 movie titled Insurgent(starring Shailene Woodley and Kate Winslet) followed by a role in the 2017 film Same Kind of Different as Me (starring Greg Kinnear and Renée Zellweger).
