Pennelope Marniquez Jimenez (born on July 26, 1978 in San Diego, California) is an American Model, actress, and a former Playboy Centerfold. She's previously appeared as one of Barker's Beauties on The Price is Right during Seasons 31 & (very briefly) 32.
Early Life[]
Although Pennelope hails from San Diego, California and is of Mexican descent, her family however, hails from Ensenada. Her father’s side of the family is Spanish while her mother's side is French. She made Mexico City her home for a while before residing in Garden Grove, California (for three years). Pennelope attended both junior high and high school in Corona before eventually settling in Huntington Beach.
Early Career[]
In 2000, Jimenez began to audition for acting and modeling gigs. One of her very first gigs was appearing in the XFL "Cheerleader" commercials and from there she landed guest starring roles on various TV shows which included playing a restaurant hostess in an episode of the CBS soap opera The Bold and The Beautiful and various different characters on Spy TV. Pennelope also landed a small role in the 2002 movie The Scorpion King where she played a Harem Girl.
The Price is Right, Playboy & Current Career[]
Also in 2002, Pennelope achieved more great success as she auditioned for and landed the part of a rotating Barker's Beauty on the television Game Show The Price is Right first during it's 31st season on the air. The lovely brunette made for debut on (airdate) November 5, 2002 and continued on until the 18th. She was invited back to appear on the series after the start of the its 32nd season beginning on (airdate) September 23, 2003 (the day after it's 22nd Season Premiere show) and continuing on until October 1st, making it her final appearance and altogether, Pennelope has appeared in only 17 episodes.
After her stints as a rotating Barker's Beauty on The Price is Right, Pennelope achieved even more greater success when she auditioned for Playboy magazine. She was convinced to audition by another Playboy centerfold and she did just that. She was Playmate of the Month for March 2003 of the popular men's magazine and in addition to her pictorials, Pennelope was also featured in a few Playboy videos and she was Miss September in the 2005 Playmates at Play at the Playboy Mansion swimsuit calendar.
Beginning in 2006, Jimenez began to appear in numerous ads for Jose Cuervo and continues to do acting and modeling gigs and she resides in Los Angeles, California.
